Greg Meyer became interested in photography while attending the University Of Illinois and working as a photographer/editor from 1977 to 1980 at the Daily Illini. His photography has changed from those early years of shooting strictly black & white for the daily press, to mostly slide film. His beautiful images speak for themselves in content, composition, and color.

These images capture a feeling, not just a moment in time. Whether a landscape or a portrait, the viewer is taken there easily, to experience what he must have felt in that moment. Greg's photography is an extension of his soul, and his vision of the world around us. And like a beautiful painting, the images and what they evoke are what people will remember.

The desire for travel to new destinations and the wish to share with others his experiences on film, has taken him to 30 countries abroad and many national parks throughout the United States. He has been based in Phoenix since 1992, and lives with his 3 faithful Labradors.
